So when I leave my kids, I am to go away on a vacation which we like to do- my husband and I. We just won’t make a big deal about it. I think, with our first one -yet, we were more nervous -we left her for one night. But then I came back, and she was fine. So now I have 4 kids, we leave them, probably, 4 times a year for a maximum, like 5 or 6 nights, and their fine. I just don’t make a big deal about it. My 3-year-old especially. I just say, "Mommy's going bye bye, you know. I think it’s your own anxiety, because the kids are in anxiety. As long as your routine's the same. I know their caregiver. I don’t call all the time. I make 1 phone call a day. You know, I can face time with my older kids, but I wouldn't do that with my 3-year-old, because they would just make him miss me more. And it’s fine. You come back, and their fine. So that’s what we do. We'd love to go away ,and I think it’s worth it.
